how do i get it to shut off? yes, the doors are shut. and at first i thought it might be the hatch but i see that that has a seperate one. i have done no interior swaping but my dash was slightly vandalized by the previous owner's ex-friend, it has nothing in the center consol but the a/c and heat control unit. the radio wires are just sitting there along with whatever else they go to. that is the only light that is not working, all the others seem to operate just fine.

 

fix the short and then put a new fuse in the dome/room light location on the drivers kick panel fusebox

 

how do i fix the short? do i need to remove the dash, whats left of it anyway?
