Dome and Door Lights Not Turning Off

87 Turbo, recently my door and map light wont turn off randomly. Car has no stereo, and yes ive checked the fuse and actually had to remove it or else the lights are constantly on. My hatch light usually stays on but has never caused lights to stay on before.

The only thing ive done that may (but shouldnt) have affected this would be when my battery was disconnected the other day,i touched a wire from the postive battery terminal directly to the horn,i was also having horn issues prior to the lighting issue. I cant see anywhere in the wiring diagrams where the horn and interior lights are tied in so im trying to figure what else it might be. Ive also tried manually pushing in on both door switches, and tried different settings on the dome light with no change.

I think you've got a bad door trigger(s). After 25+ years they get very wonky. You can unscrew/unplug the two door triggers to test this.

Thanks for the tip,I did put it some known working ones just to be sure.Although seems that the issue is coming from the dome light switch itself,im wondering if i fried a diode or something else when i jumped the horn to test it, because if i unscrew the dome light/mirror assembly from and it loses the ground connection to the bodyit turns off,but as soon as the whole thing is grounded its causing the light to stay on no matter which position the switch is on. Also the door lights will shut off when the dome light is disconnected/ungrounded. i have a mirror from an s5 but it looks like the dome switch and wiring is completely different, ill double check the diagrams thought maybe i could get it to work with my s4.
