It's attached to the kick panel that's under the glovebox where the right front speaker sits. I'm removing the speaker completely, but am wondering if the electronics it's attached too have to stay. I don't know exactly what this box does, but it looks like an amp, and the wires leading to it are the same coloring as some of the speaker connectors.

The part no. is FB06 66 960A

The board inside is the SP-Z344

If it is an amp, do you think I could use it for running my new components if my deck doesn't have enough juice to make it sound decent? Otherwise, I'm just going to pitch it.

Yeh, that's your OEM amp...

Some guys remove them, if your decks got enough juice to power everything...

I bypassed mine with my deck, no probs...

Sweet, I'll try it w/o the amp and see what happens. If it sucks, I'm just going to buy a small amp for the fronts so i don't have to screw with figuring this wiring out.

If you are using an aftermarket head unit, ditch those amps. You dont need em!
