I have STILL not found a girlfriend that actually respects my FC. what have been your results with your girlfriend liking or not liking your FC??

i have dated 3 girls in the past recent months and each of them hated my car.

they all complained that is was too loud! they also complained that it was hard to get into...wtf?? and they also complained that i drove too fast in it.

why cant i find a girl that likes it!!!???

plus each girl said they wanted a honda or something. what is so special about a fwd economy civic that you see on every corner.??..jeez.

are girls loosing interest in our 10 + year old sports cars, or are the FD's gettin all the chicks??

 

My gf dont love my car, but she doesnt hate it. She likes family cars... arggggg

 

My girlfriend loves my FC. She says that it fits me and that I look damn good in it. -just my 2 cents-

 

Mine likes my FB better.

Mine hated it until I smoked the **** out of her ex in his camaro while out on a date with her. Now all she wants to do is have me take her "driving" (aka racing, drifting, sliding) Drifting gets her all worked up WE love my FC

 

Girls I've dated liked my AE. Most girls I know or dated thought it was a mid '90s car. Two girls even said it's really cute and they would want one. I wasn't to thrilled with "cute", but hey they liked it so it's cool. Car people always talk crap about me using the Prelude rims, but I got most of the compliments after I changed the white pizza cutter rims to something newer looking. If people didn't know the wheels were from a Prelude (and most girls don't) they could appreicate how they update the look of the car.

But I'm sure the hot car factor is wayy higher in an FD.

 

My wife hates mine because i put more time on the FC than her (jealousy) ...

 

All the chicks I've dated while owning my FC liked it. Ha, I've had two chicks tell me my car was "CUTE". I really didn't see the connection but thats chicks for you.

I have come to realize that the FC was meant for the man that can afford good fast fun. Of course FD's get the chicks, but they also get the wallets too.

I agree with Scott89T2. She will never cheat on ya man!

 

i think my ex hated my FC also,
i think that one time my car had a alternator problem, and i had to replace the alternator....after the work and stuffs, i was happy to get my car running right, and i was talking to her and saying i am happy and etc, and she said "dude, something else is gonna break soon, why don't u sell it and get another car"
i was kinda mad, but all i said was "nah it's alright, i love this car and want to keep it for a while"

 

I'm a girl, and an FC will be my next automotive purchase.

 

My wife likes my car, I guess. She says it's cool and she's glad that I'm into it. She does complain that the ride is a little harsh, but I explained why it must be so and she understands. The biggest problem is that I feel guilty spending too much money on it so I tend to take it easy. Such is life. I look forward to the day when money is less of an issue!

to my face, But all i have to say is "Sunbird" and she shuts right up and go`s into her speech about how It gets her from point A to B......blah blah blah

Although I'll second this remark:

and this was one of the reasons why I didnt hook up with my previous date, my current gf actually LUUUUUUUVES my FC
She says its very fast, very comfortable ("luxurius comfort" she says), and very-very beautiful. She actually says that this is what REAL cars should be like

And although she still hangs on to whatever she can find available when I speed up (seat, door handles,....thats about it ), she says she actually likes my speeding. Should I believe her ?

 

My wife HATED my FC...

It rode too hard (9-way adjustables on all four corners),
was "too bright" on the inside (8 gauges),
didn't have a stereo (where do you think the gauges went?),
didn't have A/C (gimme a break, woman!),

and most of all:

was too loud (3" no cat and a T-04 with wastegate).

I'm very lucky with my girl I guess. When I first got it she said it was "Ok", but she loves it now. She loves when I drive it hard, and she actually gets aroused when I do high speed runs . The only thing she doesn't like is when I do heavy braking. Acceleration runs give her that "tingly feeling" LMAO.

It's nice to have a girl that understands my hobbies and doesn't bitch. That would really **** me off if she couldn't appreciate the car, or at the very least respect it as one of my true joys

 

I think most Girls hate FCs! But they sure do love them FDs! =)

I took this one chick for a ride in my T2, and she got freaked when I went completely sideways on a sharp corner. haha.
She kinda liked the drifting. =)
She really liked the 20-100 MPH runs, and especially the canyons. =)

 

I do, after riding the FC, a good ride in a woman its fun too

 

My GF hated the Fc at the begining of our relationship, nowdays she ask "When are WE going to wash the car? and Can I drive it?"...........NO!!

 

My GF loves the car. Her sister loves it too. Her sister friend screams when I take her out for a ride.

Yeah, my girl is very understanding with me and my car. Although she dosn't understand too much I tell her about the car she listens. I guess that is what is important.

On my past two engine pulls she was helping me. On the first time she spent two days cleaning parts for me in a parts cleaner with kerosene. The second pull she was with me for about 9 hours to get the thing out. She is great! When she was working on it with me my friend asked how a rotary works. She started explaining before I even had a chance to! It was great.

The only thing she dosn't understand is the money. I will spend the money for the upgraded turbo but turn every light off behind me to save money. Oh well. I just saw how much I spent on that TII this year and it scares me

But she is a great girl and understands it. I took her to an autoX and she got to ride in a Rotus. I a Lotus kit car with a rotary in it. She enjoyed that That little car hauled ***!
