Does this sound right?
Hey guys, now ive had this low rough idling issue for some time, so i took my car to a rotary specialist well known one, he tested the TPS that was fine and the timming and coils and HT leads that was also fine, then he did a compression test
(1990 turbo S5)
Front 90 - 90 - 90
Rear 80 - 80 - 65
As you can see those arent nice results well the rear ones aint, now i was told by the guy ive most likely chipped a seal so its time for a rebuild.
What i dont understand is the car misses at idle and when u rev it, but underload it doesnt miss at all and the car hasnt got any slower, Another thing is how can u get one odd compressiom read out when u chip a seal which seals two chambers, shouldnt it be something like "Rear 80 - 65 - 65 " does this sound right? or am i thinking into this too much.
Ive tried changing, computer, AFM, plugs, fuel pressure, fuel pump and guess what nothing??? if u turn the AC on it actually ildes better, and another thing it burns no oil and blows no smoke it seams healthy as.
