Lightbulb Does size really matter???

I was wondering if this would work. I found a really good deal on a 84 rx7. for 650 dollars I can get the whole car. Although I like my car I am having trouble w/ it. But say I was to buy the 84 just 4 parts. would the engine, trans, wire harness, cpu, etc...work and or fit in my 89?

size always matters

The majority of the parts from a 84 would not be interchangeable with series 5 car.

You might be able to use a couple of the engine parts but even the rotors would be different.

Some people have used the 84-85 GSL-SE 5th gear, in a series 4 or 5 car, however the majority of the parts still will not be interchangeable.
