is the series 5 front bumper worth getting? ie is it better looking?

 

Some think it looks better than the S4. I frankly don't care its just a bumper. Its ment for taking an impact when you get into an acciden't.

 

I have been offerred these parts (front and rear bumper) at a descent price so I think I will get them

 

i think trim pieces on s4 and s5 bumpers aren't the same... at least it doesn't match the body's

 

the trim is different... look for a pic of one thats has it done... the trim dosent line up exactly right, and its different. If im not mistaken the s5 trip is part of the bumper and the s4 is add on stuff.

so the s5 one is painted and the s4 one is black. If your willing to paint all your trim the it might not be noticed by the untrained eye... to make it match i think you have to go with the bumper and finders from a s5.

for that price i can just get a front kit, throw in a little more for side skirts.. and bam!

 

S4 doortrims are held on by tape whereas S5 trims are also held by tape but also some "taps" that clicks into factory cutouts in the doors.
