does rebuilt engines go bad, if not installed in a certain time?
plz help! i bout a rebuilt engine about a week ago. and i live and texas and my car and my engine is in cali. im in the military and i wont be able to go back to cali, for a nother month. when i try to buy one from a shop. they said they go bad. i was just wonderin if any one had a time line?
In most cases there should be enough assembly lube left on the parts to easy tkae care of any major problems in such a short time. I wouldnt worry too much about it. Just make sure its stored in a dry place in the meantime
