Does this need to be replaced?
So,

Is what it looked like before I pulled it off..... yea, looks bad huh?

Does the shaft look like it needs to be replaced? It is very rough, and slightly ground down. Think i can file it / sand it smooth?
Or am I looking at buying a new one? Thanks guys! Other side is done.
now i just gotta get this side done.

wow....if I saw bearings missing, I wouldnt even trust the shaft to be perfectly smoothe or circular. I would replace it
But thats just me.
i think its beyond repair lol

Slide the new bearings onto the spindle. If there is ANY PLAY at all between the inner races of the bearings and the spindle then it is junk. Usually if there is scoring thats the case.

Yea.... kinda figured.... guess I'll be getting my tools and hitting up the junkyard tomorrow.
I tried to slide the bearing on, and it won't go on.... which seemed weird.
