wrong section but i think they stick out too much. with bigger/wider tires you will need to roll or go wide.

I think you need to lower the car, get bigger tires, and maybe pull/roll your fenders

yeah, it looks a little funny. Either get some lowering springs or some 17's, or do both. I did.

0 offset is totally wrong for these cars. For an 8 inch wide wheel you need something like a +42 offset. Its just weird seeing a wheel with 0 offset on our cars.

If you're going to insult us like that...

You're a dumbass to run such radical offset.
Did you know that running such extreme offsets puts unnecessary stress on the suspension components?
Also, do you know that this can adversely affect steering and how the car handles?
This means you're prematurely wearing out the hubs / bearings, and steering joints...

Yeah, I thought so...

well this isn't burger king, you can't always have it your way.

if you want a big lip then you need to flare the fenders or put wide fenders on the car, leaving it stock looks like *** and the tires will stick out(which is illegal in most states btw). do it right, get the right offset wheels with a nice lip and it will look better rather than a tonka truck with toy car tires.

well it is a bit extreme saying they will damage the suspension/hubs/wheels but it will add stress and the vehicle will act differently with those wheels on it(tend to wander and pull much easier) so i really would just take everyone's suggestions and just forget about those wheels and get some that fit the car better.

Actually, it will prematurely cause the bearings to fail.
This has been proven before when "reverse offset" (wire) wheels were all the rage back in the day.
The loads to the radically different tire-to-hub position causes different loads on the wheel bearings / hubs.
The wheel bearings were not designed to have such loads on them, and thus, they wear funny.

Similar effect to adding a wrench to your ratchet in-order to crack tough bolts....the longer the shaft is from the fulcrum, the more force is applied. Thus, hubs, bearing carriers, spindles, bearings, everything takes much more load in even regular driving situations and thus wears out that much quicker....

wire wheels with negative offset sticking out 4" is a little different than a 0 offset wheel, like i said it is true to an extent, the extent being how far the wheel is offset.

believe me i know since i deal with it on my truck but that also is a bit of an extreme since the tires are about 4" offset and are 33" on an S-10 pickup which was never meant to have tires that big on it. but it generally takes about 40-50k miles before the bearings are worn even with moderate abuse offroading.
