Magnacore ftw.

A good source of Mazda OEM parts is Mazdatrix.com, they sell a lot of brand new, kickass parts. The only problem is, Mazdatrix is really, really expensive compared to anything. but sometimes they just have stuff nobody else stocks. Next time check 'em out.

Plug wires are plug wires, as you'll see no performance gains with any, unless you're old wires are shot. So if money is a problem buy an inexpensive set, but if not, buy Magnecor.

plug wires are Not plug wires! it's not so much the performance gain from one brand to another but build quality and fitment. i want you to compare a pep boys wire to an NGK set, there is a huge difference. most of the cheaper wires pull apart easily and the shielding is crappy. i don't like using crap parts then wonder why my car runs funny.

I run Mazdatrix and so do most of my other FC buddies. They're cheap and great, 50 is cheap for what they are.

Never mentioned construction, but if you're pulling apart a plug wire during removal, then you had better take some lessons as how to remove the wires from the plugs. Guess you're one of the guys that gets ahold of the wire itself and gives it a pull and wonders why they seperate. Ever hear of a spark plug wire removal tool? Guess not.
Also, if you're car runs crappy on one good set, it will run crappy on another. Better check the Magnecor website and you will see that new wires will not change the performance of the vehicle unless the old wires were failing. Guess you had a bad set from pulling them apart.
