Does this look right? - tranny mount

I was up under my car to drain the fluis, etc. and noticed that the tranny mount looked like it might be broken. Does that look right?

It doesn't matter too much because the tranny is about to come out and I'm putting in competition mounts, but I'm just curious.

Its hard to think about what is supposed to be there...I think a rubber bushing goes in there... If you push up on the tail shaft does the tranny move?

Go to the parts fische and you'll see you missing a very large diameter washer that is supposed to go B/t the small washer and the transmission mounting member. Part FB01-39-364(washer).

The mount does look scrogged. Look at the two side mounts that attach to the transmissoin mounting bracker, on both sides and repalce if required. The transmission sits on them.

Well, I'm pulling the engine and tranny in a few days to rebuild the engine and I'm replacing everything with cometition mounts, so thats not an issue. I had the engine rebuild about 25k miles ago and the tranny was out for that. I guess he used the old mount and either put in a questionable mount or just botched the install. I'm becoming less and less impressed with the job he did with the rest of the car as I look more at it. The bolt attatching the rear camber bar to the rear subframe is gone as well. Its possible that it was already like that but he should have noticed......

Wow, the tranny moves really easily up and down. Now I see why my engine moved around so much at idle.
