does horsepower increase when.....
You will free up a small amount of hp with an e-fan.
Please be aware though, that your e-fan might cause your alternator to not be able to charge your battery enough.
My 14 amp e-fan was enough of a draw as to make me need to go from my 70 amp, series 4 alternator, to a series 5, 80 amp alternator.
The series 5 alternator did do the job but, the fan was apparantly so much of a burden that the alternator failed within a month.
I went to the series 6, 100 amp alternator and, I haven't had a problem since.
Good Luck,
Mike

The Black Magic that I have draws 13.9 amps when doing 2800 cfm.
My car has no extra stereo equipment and yet, the '86-'88 70 amp alternator was not enough, with the a/c running.
The '89-'91 80 amp was enough but, it broke after a month.
No problems with the '93+ 100 amp alternator.
