Yes, the FD Torsen will drop into a Turbo2 differential.

The FD diff will only fit in a Turbo... not in a non-turbo, without swapping parts and assemblies.

The fd and TII lsd are interchangeable. So yes a aftermarket clutch type lsd for a fd will fit onto a fc, or you can get the 87-88 TII clutch type lsd, these things are pretty strong and cheaper, or might be easier to drop in the whole rear end if you have a 89-91 TII.

Hmm... ok this is weird...i looked into cusco LSDs and they have different part #. between FC and FD..THis is the delema. i can get a deal on a used cusco unit for FD, but my car is a FC?

should i buy it even though the part # are different? i just dont want to spend all that money and get stuck with something i can use.

thanks!

Does the Cusco units have the ring and pinion???

There is a difference between the ring and pinions between the two versions.
