Does driver kick panel CPU control ALL warning buzzers?

I had a problem where headlights would not retract or turn off, Even when the car was off.
(I pulled the CPU out and opened up, but found no burnt/corroded connectors.)

I figured out to fix this whole shenanigan problem, I simply unhook the longest connector on the CPU and headlights went back to normal, the only downside is the seat belt buzzer would not go off (turn signals, horn, lights, etc still work.)

But does this connector also control the coolant and oil warning buzzers? I thought I found an easy fix, but now Im worried I lost my warning buzzers for something more important.

EDIT; 89 S5

The plug you disconnected from the CPU houses the wires associated w/the alarm system and thus you are likely getting interference from the alarm system causing your lights to stay on and in the up position. If you depin two wires from the unconnected plug and plug it back in then you'll see if this is indeed the problem. In the disconnected plug there is a White/Blue wire (pin 1L) and a Black/Green wire (pin 1U). Remove/depin these two wires and plug it back into the CPU and see if this temporarily fixes your problem. Both of these wires would need to provide a ground and in turn the lights would turn on and pop up. In a normal situation these wires would not have a ground on them unless the headlight switch was fully turned on or the alarm system was providing a ground on these two wires.

Oh. Interesting.

Maybe you are right.
So if I take out these wires and headlights still work, then just least the wires out? (I dont have an alarm at all, minus the big "security" button that used to flash randomly. (Ive not driven the car in a while to check back on it since unplugging the CPU)

I guess I was right, I need that plugged in to keep the coolant/oil warning?

Thanks for the help, Electrical stuff is my weak point, I just get more overwhelmed when I gotta figure out electrical stuff.

All 89 S5's had the alarm as a standard feature. Whether your's still works is a different question but at least 13 of the 20 wires running to the largest CPU plug are related to the alarm system.
