Does anyone know what this air duct is for??

Anyone know what this air duct is for? Looks to channel air from the front bumper to the battery location??

Part #FB01 56 361 and FB01 50 134 ?

You got it.
Explosive Hydrogen gas is a byproduct of charging the battery. The fresh air vent disperses the Hydrogen in the battery box.

well I’ll be darned. Makes sense, just never thought about it. Since I’m running AGM relocated to the cabin, gonna repurpose the hole to re-route AN lines for a cleaner look. Thank you for the response, much appreciated
