uhhh... Unless the nut is a different size than my '89 N/A.

Than that nut, for sure, is 2 1/8. Thats what I used anyway. (its actually a metric measurment, but 2 1/8th works, like 33mm or something)

The best way to get the nut broken loose is to get a big peice of metal, I found some old building supplys that are used for concrete work. Anyway. This thing was like 4 feet long, 1/8-1/4'' thick and about 3'' wide.... I drilled 2 holes in it the align with 2 flywheel (pressure plate) bolts and used it has a brace on the floor while I wedged myself bwtween both wheels and pry'ed. Hope that help. Goodluck

The flywheel nut is 54mm or 2 1/8". You should be able to find a 2 1/8" socket at Sears.

... just went down to my garage and checked it.. 2 1/8 inches is what i used on my 91 NA, not 2 1/2.
my bad, hehe.
gl on getting it off... thing is torqued like a ************ but should be no problem with a good air compressor cranked up all the way.
