does anyone know how to take the radiator apart?
I would like to be able to disassemble the radiator to clean it. I've been quoted a price of 125 to clean it at a shop... can it be done at home?
Yes. Pry up all the metal tangs holding the plastic sides on and they pop right off. I have done it before and had no trouble with leaks after reassembling it. The radiator shop told me it was not possible and wanted $$$ for a complete new rad. (I had to replace one of the sides and had no $ at the time).
