Question does anyone know how to remove the door sticker?

hi, my friend needs to do some body work to repair the damage on the driver side. and I think that he needs to remove the sticker before any work, so he can keep the sticker intact. but I can't come up with good idea to get that off.

any clue?

thanks

If he is talking about the VIN ID on the door, it is going to be like an aluminum sticker of sort with embossed info on it. Dont thinjk the heat gun/hairdryer trick will work on that. The razor and steady hand however, are a must. The other alternative is to call the Mazda dealer and pay like 9 to 15 dollars for a new one. Just give them the info and they will order/make one for ya!!

thanks for all the replies. the sticker should have the vin#, manufacture date, tire size, etc. I will try with the easier way first.
by the way, even dealer can make one for me, how can I put it on the car? glue?
