Question Does anyone know the answer to this?

The engine harness by the injectors, it has a grey think cord, which has a thin black one inside, i think its a sensor wire or something, but its like...

Grey plastic
Silver wire
Black plastic
Silver wire

Do the silver wires send separate signals, or is the outside wires just insulation or something from other frequencies?

if anyone knows i would appreciate the info thank you.

The O2 sensor uses a shielded cable, so make certain with the rewire that shielded part in no way makes contact with the inner wire or the signal will be grounded.

well now you are aware...

The O2 wire is shielded, and is a black wire inside a grey plastic tube at one point
