If they're light abrasions, as in not through the top-coat's surface, they can be wet sanded/buffed. If they've gone through then your easiest/cheapest bet is to simply touch them up.

You can go a step beyond a touch up and use single stage urethane to touch it (I'm presuming its black according to your avatar?) then after its dried for a few days, go over the touch up with wet paper and smooth down the inconsistencies then buff it. It will still look touched, but not nearly as ugly.

That's not bad at all. Fairly clean.

There are certianly many worse body kits out there.

OMG!!!
sahweeeet!! thanks a lot Asterisk, you made my day!

Regarding the Idle issue:

Just got back from a rotary shop, they said that because I havent adjusted my TPS and my thermowax is the main reason for my idle issue, and the K&N air cone filter is another cause of air issues as well as the air pump not being connected...

So... I'm gonna go through the online FSM to see how to adjust the tps and the thermowax...

then I'm putting on the airpump... anyone got any tricks on making that bracket go on?

then I'm doing a coolant flush, putting on the fan shroud, then putting the stock air box back... gotta go buy a K&N air filter replacement...

after all that is done, I should have a solid idle...

Regarding the body:

I just bought a Mother's Clay Bar Paint saving system... I gotta go pick up some 2000 grit sand paper... wet sand the remaning key marks, then clay bar the whole car, and give it another Zymol wax...

Took some new pics with the turbo hood on. just posted them on Photobucket. I'll also post some on here for convenience :p

Enjoy, and thanks again for all input and in advance for any incoming input.

+1^ the kit looks good, and being as i hadnt seen it before and its always nice to see something different. i think that photoshopped pic with the diffuser looked a little too hacked, but something to that effect would look pretty sick. good stuff man, definately post some pics when its on and painted

I still think you should cut the center section out on the r. bumper btw.

Then add a custom alum diffuser and paint it flat black... but that's a bit too rice for some people.

I think it'll look Beautiful in black, it sort of mirrors the front stock grill...
But I'm really considering cutting that out and putting the diffuser... anyone know where I can get it from?

Your the only other 7 that Ive seen with the vanquish kit. I got mine feb of 07 and shaved the body moldings to make the car look more up to date and sexy. Of course it has to be fast right? let me know what you think.

p.s. the paint job was a $275 single stage urethane...no ****. LOTS of sanding...LOTS! Everyone loves it. All me baby!

heres the front.

installing godspeed front mount(24/12/3'') soon...nice

OH YEA... I got the kit from www.importtrenz.com had to buy it all separatly though. I LOVE the look though. Its just right. Not to much, just follows the stock 80's lines and brings it lower to look aggressive as a bat out of Hell! I have a nickname now, I call it the SLAYER.

You know guys? I am starting to realy like this kit! Might go with it, instead of the whole "GP Sports club." But then again, the Shine FC2000 front isnt bad either!

I got it off of Ebay, it was a last in stock item, and the warehouse happened to be in my city of Richmond... so I scored a sweet deal!

hey (misterstyx69) you can purchase all of the kit pieces separatly from

http://www.importtrenz.com/v3/catalog/home.php?cat=1453

My wheels are 18by8.5 and 18by9.5. the offset in front is 25mm and 20 in rear. the body kit makes for a flush fit in front and back. my tires are wrapped in front with 225/40series and in rear with 255/35series. heres a couple of good shots. enjoy
