Does anybody use the straps in the FC

I was just curious to see what people have used them for. Whenever I try and use them they don't really work that well, so what have you guys used them for?

I put salt bags under them in the winter. I've put a cooler under them, too. It takes some fussing around to get them figured out, but they work alright.

I used them to make sure an 80 lb. 21" CRT monitor didn't slide all around back there. I've used them to keep down jugs of coolant, oil and similar by criss-crossing and wrapping the straps through the handles.

I was certain they'd just get in the way and cause problems, so I removed them early on.

I removed them, I never had the need for them, since I had the rear seat to prevent the stuff from flying forward.

I don't think I even remember there being straps in my FC. I think there are, tho... lol.

I wonder if my FB has them... cuz I do remember an 80lb backpack flying towards me yesterday when I slammed on the brakes driving her.

I don't have the straps. Come to think of it, I don't have an interior.

I held down a 3 ton jack with them. Worked well (and I am in a hilly area).

I've used them a fair bit, especially when it was my DD. My straps have always been crossed, BTW. I find them much more useful that way.
When I used to go to lan parties I would use it to strap down my computer. I have also used it for moving purposes and other random things.

I use them on a daily basis. They work much better if they're crossed :P (I ferry things between my job sites.)

My car didn't have them when I bought it. If there is anyone that doesn't want theirs, I'll buy them. As long as they aren't red or blue. I need them for my sub box. I'm using a ratchet strap but it doesn't wok very well. If I turn a certain way it just slides out of it.

I don't trust beer in the back end, I want it in the front where I can see it.
