easy way is to pull the retracter fuse out while they are on there way up or down, but the adjustment **** is under the car under the headlights. They have a little condom rubber thingy over the adjuster *****..

That's because it's doing what it's supposed to. Unfortunately (for you), the headlights are designed to have only two states, up or down. Therefore, your options are limited to the following:

1. Lose retractability and keep them perpetually in the "sleepy-eye" state.
Pro: It's easier, you just keep the fuse out.
Con: You probably won't be able to see the road at night.

2. Set up a switch to give the same effect as cutting the fuse so you can induce the "sleepy-eye" state.
Pro: By using the switch you still have full up and down motion at your disposal.
Con: You won't get it to the exact same height every time you want it to go sleepy.

3. Engineer a solution that has three states: [down, sleepy, up] or two states: [sleepy, up].
Pro: It goes to the same height every time.
Con: It would cost far more time and money than it's probably worth.

I agree with Dave regardless if he put his company name on their or not the point he was trying to make had no direct Correlation to what his point was. The irony is that you did exactly what he was saying you found something to say on his post that was stupid and I noticed that is the response to alot of posts and I also noticed that I think thats because you dont know the actual answer that someone is asking.... And if you do know the answer then you are just being ignorant, and whats the point of that???
