does anybody know?
when u go to get a new power window motor does it matter if came off of a convertable or a hach back? will it work for both kinds?

you need a convertible power window regulator for a convertible, but you could (with mod) use a 'vert in a coupe.
They're different because of the way the window is divided in the 'verts.
Try to take yours apart and fix it if you don't have availability of a vert regulator - they are often just in need of a cleaning and new 'string of pearls'.

Since most people when replacing a bad motor, replace the entire assembly, then no it is not interchangeable, the assemblies are different.
