does anybody know?
 
when u go to get a new power window motor does it matter if came off of a convertable or a hach back? will it work for both kinds? :confused:

I don't see why it wouldn't. But I'm not 100% positive.

Its only got a 2 pin plug + and - so unless they are switched up or different voltages which I dont see why they would be, I think you should be good.

you need a convertible power window regulator for a convertible, but you could (with mod) use a 'vert in a coupe.

They're different because of the way the window is divided in the 'verts.

Try to take yours apart and fix it if you don't have availability of a vert regulator - they are often just in need of a cleaning and new 'string of pearls'.

The actual motor itself is interchangable, however the track assembly and everything but the motor is different (including the lifts and mech).

Since most people when replacing a bad motor, replace the entire assembly, then no it is not interchangeable, the assemblies are different.
