Arrow Does this AFM harness look wrong to you? Pic-

Guys,

I had the plastic piece around the harness broken when I swapped the motor in. Before that it ran fine in the other car. I went ahead and cut a harness from a junk car but never reconnected the shielding for one of the wires. Will this have any impact? Maybe why i feel like I am getting too much air or too little fuel on startup?

Shield wires do serve a purpose. Without it the magnetic field from your plug wires could contaminate the signal being sent back to your computer.

I don't know if it would have a huge impact on startup, prolly not. It's more likely that some wires got switched up.

AFM is not used during Start. Only after five hundred rpm does the afm come into play.
