?? Does Aeromotive FPR need Vac line ??

Done with new install. Do I block off the FPR vac line when setting the fuel pressure to 40 psi? Do I leave vac line blocked for good when the car is running or do I need to connect it?

Well what is the model #. Now look it up and tell me if it is a rising rate FPR, most of the EFI app. are RR. If yes, the you will want to hook it up if you want the fuel pressure to rise with VAC/boost, most do it on a 1:1 scale. Try GOOGLE for the manual if you dont have it already.

yes. all GOOD fuel pressure regulators need a supply of vaccume or boost in order to compensate.

My set-up is 88 T2
-streetported
-Microtech lt-8s
-BNR stage 4
-3'' intercooler pipes
-Godspeed 24by12by3'' intercooler
-3'' turbo back exhaust
-fluidyne rad
-e-fan
-AEROMOTIVE A1000 FPR
-walbro 255
-ss fuel lines
no AC or power steering
-throttle body mod
Do I block the VAC line to FPR, or is that only for setting fuel pressure?

Thanks,
-Dustin

Set fuel pressure with the vacuum line off, then reinstall it for actual driving.
