do it yourself headlights?

on my 88 gxl rex one of my headlights burnt out, it only works on high beams. i was told i could just replace it myself so i undid all the screws so i could get at the headlight but it is sealed by some rubber thing so i can't get at the actual bulbs and on the clear plastic headlight casing it says "sealed beam" and says that it is halogen. is this something i can replace myself or what will i have to do?
thanks for any help you guys have for me.

Got a Haynes or factory service manual? Owners manual would tell you how too

If they are sealed I believe you need to replace the entire headlight, not just the bulb.

Just go to your local parts store or Walmart

The sealed headlight must be under $10. Really, no point trying to change the actual bulb(s).

May be a good idea to change both headlights at same time.

that IS the bulb.....the whole thing, is one giant bulb, you cant take it apart, and if you did, it would probably ruin it...
