If they are NGK plugs the trailing have 2 blue lines on the ceramic.. The are also usually marked with a T or L...

Look good except the one on the right is a bit rounded off... aside from that they look fresh.

i would replace them while you have them out, why not they dont cost a bunch of money and it never hurts to have new plugs then again they look fine

Dude don't replace them. Get a wire brush and scrub them a little.

Why shouldnt he replace them? They cost what....$20-$25 tops for all four? They do look ok for normal wear, but they are still used plugs. Might as well replace them while they're out.

Theyre both BUR9's, but one was in the L spot and one was in the T spot.

Ill buy new ones, but I just thought it was weird how the black spots ( carbon Im assuming? ) was on only half of the plugs...

Ah well. I guess I just worry too much. Thanks for the replies.

Its just a matter of getting the right angle on it. My pos engine is really hard on plugs so I check mine alot. I can get my plugs out pretty quickly.

I think you guys change your plugs way too much....I'd like to see a massive increase with plugs like that and new plugs on a dyno....I never really felt a differnce....and cheap? 5-6 bucks a pop yeah right....changing your oil would be more benificial and cheaper!, **** just save up for you next mod.

I used plugs that looked like that on my rebuild to use when I was breaking my engine in

no its not really a big deal but if in doubt just replace the spark plugs now instead of having them fail later on down the road. why not its cheap and easy? get the performance plugs for a few extra bucks and know afterwards if something happens to your car its not the spark plugs

yep, the black is just a little carbon - those plugs are in fine shape...replace them if u have others ready, or toss them in if you don't not worth the trip in the condition they are in
