not enough that you will ever notice the difference.

someone once tried to claim that the stock hubs flex, cast aluminum doesn't flex.. it breaks. will you ever break a stock hub? hopefully not.

what's their benefit? THEY'RE JDM YO!

I had a Showroom Stock '86 RX7 that we ran in the SCCA Endurance Cup. Of course we had "stock" hubs, but, what we did notice was after racing 3-5 hrs the outside wheel developed slack and we actually would tighten the bearing nt and restake it on pit stops. About our crew chief, Daryl Drummond, made a steel spacer between the inner and outer bearings to keep them from moving together and squeezing soft aluminum casting. That did fix the problem for the rest of the season.

I wouldn't know what other benefit to do anything else other than make them out a harder metal to prevent that problem.

I run 245 Hoosier A6s on the front and my stock front hubs loosen up on me quite a bit when racing...

I'm upping the width in the front to 285s this season, hopefully it doesn't get worse.
