Do modded N/A's need more fuel & fuel control?
I was just reading the S-afc install write up on www.fc3s.org
http://www.fc3s.org/how_tos/electrical/afc.html
Anyways, I am fairly illiterate as far as fuel control goes. I have a 1991 moderatly modded N/A, and I want to know if I should upgrade my injectors and get an S-afc to control the fuel.
My mods are:
PR Streetport
Crane Hi-6
Full RB Tii exhaust
Cone filter
PR sleeves
I have stock 460 injectors, and stock ecu.
Do I need bigger injectors, and s-afc?
Thanks

You do not need bigger injectors, as the ones you have can safely support 250hp. But any engine will benefit from some form of fuel control, because it gives you the opportunity to lean out the rich factory mixtures for more power. Also, the more modified an engine is, the less ideal the factory mixtures are likely to be.
BTW, a trip to the dyno to log A/F mixtures would show you if and where you have scope to lean the engine out.
