Do I Need A New Turbo Housing Or Will BNR Replace It For Me?

I haven't been able to get a hold of BNR about my stage II yet, so I figured i'd just ask here. I have an 89' TII with a cracked turbo housing that seems unrebuildable. So basically I wanted to get a BNR stage II, but If I send them my turbo will they give me a new housing for it? I'm sure they would probably charge if they did, but i'm wondering if I would have to buy a new housing off someone else then ship the good parts to them to have them rebuild it. Also, does anyone know if they port wastegates while they are rebuilding anyways?

It needs to be a buildable core.

Hotside and cartridge at the minimum have to be good.

The compressor side doesn't matter a whole lot since that's what they rework/replace.

it took me 3 hotsides before i got a usable one for my rebuild.
Check the parts section.

I'm pretty sure Brian ported the wastegate on the turbo I have in my garage. Greg C.

That's exactly what was bad on mine. Start searching for some one with a hotside.

No reputable turbo rebuilder will use that part.

As soon as the turbo get'shot that crack will come out and grab the turbine.

I tried calling today but no answer, I left a message but I thought i'd just ask here for a quick response. Anyways, would a housing from an 87 TII work for this, or no? I have the rest from the 89' TII, but are the housings the same?

Well this really sucks. I REALLY need to get this thing rebuilt fast, but it makes it really hard when nobody answers the phone there at any hour of the day, and nobody returns calls from the answering machine. I even sent an e-mail with no response either.

If you just need a working turbo to get you around, pick up a used one from someone for now while the other is being rebuilt. When the rebuild is done, sell the stock one.

Its not so much that I need it to get around, well I do but thats not my main concern. I'm leaving for college soon, and I need this car to have the new turbo, injectors, exhaust, and get it dyno tuned before I leave for school, and if I don't get it done I can't bring the car with me. By the time I found a working turbo, paid for it and got it shipped, then installed it, the new one should be back anyways, so that would be a waste.
