Do I need block off plates?
I'm considering removing my a/c and p/s pump since neither of them work and I've already gotten used to not using them, but are there any block off plates I need to buy or anything? Or do I take everything out and I'm good to go?

Just pull everything out.
If you retain the power steering rack when you remove the pump, you need to loop the lines on the gear so that they flow through to each other. Theres a good write-up somewhere, do a search.

If your going to remove them, you might as well go out. Take out all the lines and everything. I just took my PS lines out Sunday, that sucked hardcore. The lines loop up behind the bumper, I dont really understand the design. Ive got a manual rack though, so its all good.

Ya, I meant to do that too.
I was doing it while waiting for my rebuild to go in, so they were easy to get at. In fact, I put a manual rack in to save weight and get a better lock:lock ratio.

Thanks for all the replies, I know what I have to do now. One last question though. I heard that if you take your a/c out, your heater won't work anymore, is this true?
