How about some useful information...

Why do you think you don't need it? Is your broken? How do you know?

You mean the manifold pressure sensor (the atmospheric pressure sensor is inside the cabin).

Yes you need it. Do not run the car without it.

You'll find the Atmospheric pressure sensor inside the car....passengers side.......above the passengers feet. Not that you need to know that since it was that other thing that is melted...the boost/pressure sensor on the right hand strut tower.

You REALLY, REALLY need to make sure that you don't let any of the wires on the boost/pressure sensor touch each other or ground. A ECU can be ruined in a heartbeat if the ref voltage wire...brown/white ...is connected to the 12v black/white wire or is grounded. So if the electrical plug is also melted..be careful handling the wires.
