Do FC verts have a security system?
Someone try to to break into my car, and i couldnt get the engine to start after the incident. The lights were on, but the engine was cut off...
is this a security thing?

The Mazda factory security system only kills the starter. It will not kill fuel or ignition.
and all 88 and later models have security from the factory. On pre- 88 models it was an option.

Which manual? Owner's? FSM?
They both mention the disabling of the starter only.
Page T-80 of the FSM.
Page 2-7 of the Owner's Manual.

Oh yeah, both are S5; I don't have both documents for S4.
