Do Apex seals need oil lubrication to work?
I'm in the process of trying to 'de-carbon' my engine to restore compression on 2 of the 3 rotor surfaces of the front rotor (the rear is fine). When I started 5 of the 6 seals moved freely, one on the front was definitly stuck.
But since applying generous amounts of combustion chamber cleaner the apex seals seem to be more sticky then they did when I started! I fear that the cleaner is removing all of the oil and therefore the compression seal and ease of movement.
What do you guys think, should I add some MMO before things get too dry?

mmo for 24 hours supposedly unsticks them if they can be unstuck.. or start it up and eventually it might pop (don't try the second one on my advice though, I never tried it)
