do any of you mess with passengers?

heh... when I'm driving in my 7 and I have a passanger who hasn't riden in it before I take it up to red line so the buzzer will go off. SCARES THEM HALF TO DEATH! they start freaking out and thinking the car's going to explode or something... doesn't help that sometimes I'll get this scared look on my face and start to mumble stuff to myself. I don't know. the least reaction I've gotten was... 'ummm... what was that..?' heh. wondered if anyone else abused their passangers with the buzzer.

edit: stupid new keyboard spelling errors...

I gave a chick a ride home from work and hit the buzzer while changing lanes under an overpass. She screamed and leaned over towards me because she thought it was someone in the next lane honking at me

yeah, you can make flames come out your exhaust. you need to hook up a propane tank somewhere on your car (not sure where) then you need spark plugs and you put them in your exhaust system. you need to hook everything up to a toggle swithc so you can turn the function on and off, otherwise you'd be spittin fire everytime u pushed the gas peddle. also, your pipes at the end need to extend i think, at least 6 inches from your back bumper, because when the fire comes back in, it will burn the bumper. this is real dangerous though, because the fire can follow the gas line back to the engine, and blow it up. but the chances of that happeneing are slim and none.
also, anyone know how to put your picture of you car in this box?

You can get almost any Rx to blow flames ... its pretty easy... Everyone here says you have to rev it up to the redline and jam the clutch down but... there is an easier way !! .... Take your car up to like 5000 Rpm... or maybe even a little less... accel to it real quick then take your foot off the gas... it will cost for a second then give it another really small touch of gas... pop bang.. flames.. there you have it !

Can I get an AMEN!!

With the above and a Super-AFC tuned to +20% at 5k and up, you'll shoot flames that rip the time-space continuum

http://www.cdnwfl.com/fireballfinal.avi <--flamage, and ear shattering Ka-Booms (you need DivX)

BTW: I've chopped the size down to ~7Megs

Yeah, the buzzer freaks out the uninitiated, but this will freak out just about anyone driving with you. When you hit a cloverleaf exit off the freeway (which around here seem to be marked as 25mph turns) don't slow down to less than 50 mph. You may want to plastic line the passenger seat before trying this at home.

I love watching them reach for the dash in a blur of panic when they realize you aren't slowing down any more, and the turn is really sharp.

Take care,

Yeah, it's always fun to make the buzzer go off, but usually when I get it up that high, and then I let off, I always let out this huge screen of smoke. I still haven't figured out how to shoot flames. I have no catalytics, but I have the stock mufflers...but not for long. Does anyone know if you have straights can you shoot flames? I'm thinking about removing my stock mufflers, and replacing them with straight pipes after the y-pipe, and then, before the y-pipe...where my catalytics used to be, I'm planning and strongly considerin replacing that spot with a single twister muffler. Anyway, I think that would sound really cool. But yeah, the main thing that I use to mess with my passengers is the overwheleming smell of exhaust...

Skibum 9199 has been scaring me half to death for a long time, even before his rx, he used to do it in his Chevy Astro van. A couple of times he's turned it sideways on the road. and does lots of doughnuts in it in the winter. Now it's even worse in his rx7. I'm always gripping the seat and screaming, or taking gasping breathes.
I'm getting better at scaring passengers and other drivers on the road. it took me forever to squeal my tires from a stop, now i when i do it i scare my passenger and i notice that the drivers behind me give me alot more space. and i can fish tail now, from a stop into a turn, on dry pavement hehehe. i've never really had another person in my car when i redline, except Jesse and he's used to the buzzer, even though sometimes mine won't even go off.
Too bad i can never scare Jesse or catch him off guard. He knows everything i can do, and if i do something different he just gets worried that i dont know what im doing and that i'm going to lose control and crash. But i don't think i'll ever do that.

-Jessica

Heh...lemme rack my brain...This is everything I've done to the car, some improve performance, others do not...

Cone intake
Apex N1 single
straight pipe replacing cats
ACT pressure plate on a stock clutch (don't ask)
GSL-SE tranny
SPAL 16" electric fan (2400CFM)
TII Brake calipers all around (painted to match the car)
Hawk Black pads
Eibach springs
Greddy Temp gauge mounted in A-Pillar
AFM mounted in A-Pillar
Super-AFC
87-88 TII interior conversion (no more mouse belts)
17" Konig Impacts
225/45-17 Falken Azenis tires (w00t!)
Razo shift **** mounted on 87-88 shifter (not quite short throw, but it doesn't feel like shifting a truck now)
Lighting mods:
FTP light mod (headlights shine through FTP's when on)
J-Spec front parking light mod (running lights up front are white on the outside edges when turned on, yet rest of lens blinks orange)
Taillight mod (outer two bulbs glow when lights are on, all lights on when brakes are applied)
I may have forgotten a thing or two...but you get the idea

Future mods:
Coil-overs all around
TII engine swap or a super-nasty NA

It always fun to come to a 90 in a road and instead of slowing down, speed up. Passangers ove it when you do a 4 wheel drift. And the shift buzzer gets em every time.
