do alot of 92 rx-7 come twin turbo?

 

If you're referring to Third Generation (FD) cars, then they were all twin turbo originally. Though many were built during calendar year 1992, I believe even in Japan they were sold as 1993 models, though I could be wrong about this. There are also a few 1992 model year Second Gen (FC) convertibles that would have had single turbos only.

 

I have seen a few for sale in japan that are the FD style rx7. They would be twin turbo. I have only seen about 3 of these for sale since i have looked.

 

he's talkin about the 92 fc's. they were all convertible. and turbo i think since they were released in japan and not here.

 

yeah but not twins though. Anything FC would be single turbo and only sold as 92 models in Japan.

 

I forgot to add in my post it was 92 FDs i saw not 92 verts.

 

the FD started production 12/1991 the US models have 1993 vins, but the FD's for the rest of the world are 92's

 

i assumed he meant the fc bc of the forum this was posted in.

i didnt know about 92 fd's. i thought they started in 93.
