unfortunatley the seat rails in FD and FC are different. It is possible maybe to be modified enough to work dunno never tried. I would just get a real bucket seat and a rail that fits the seat and your car.

you could swap the seat rails on the seats and no custom work would have to be done could you not???

It will require some serious custom work to mount 3rd gen seats - you can't just swap seat rails. The rail mounting locations on the 3rd gen seats are closer together than the 2nd gens.

Yeah, I'm sure it could be done, but it will be a royal bitch.

And, yes, I have pulled a 3rd gen seat out and compared it to a 2nd gen seat.
