Thanks for the link. One thing I don't get is why people will spend tons of money on the engine, an SAFC, boost controller, etc...and they think that wideband systems are too expensive! Don't cheap out on a wideband. You can get a good one for only $350! Thats about what your S-AFC costs. I wouldn't trust a DIY wideband...get the real thing. It will save you a blown engine in the long run.

Most people should take their S-AFC equipped car to a dyno to tune it, not try to do it themselves with a peice of equiptment they are unfermiliar with.

I'll be using the TechEdge myself -- not primarily because it's cheaper than a built unit, but that WAS a factor in my decision. A DIY wb IS the real thing -- just an alternative. Do your research on them though just as you would a regular WB -- features will vary from model to model and brand to brand -- just like anything else. You want to make sure you're getting something that will work for what you want it to do and has the capabilities and features you're after.

Bottom line, you may not need the high dollar unit with 95 bells and whistles -- then again you might.
