Whaaa...your getting 35 pulses on all 6 faces? Dude...you should only get 1 'pulse' per face.

What are the "pulses" per face? Sorry guys I really don't know what that phrase means..

basic compression test...

pull a spark plug, turn the crank, listen for a "pulse". should be 3 per side.

I think he meant 35 psi on all 6 faces lol
But even then...I pulse at 90psi on my front rotor....85 on my rear....

isnt 35 low

I installed the CAS gear upside down.. took me 2 years and a 3rd rebuild to figure that out.

Fresh rebuild and the "stock" ports the original irons had ate a side seal. Cleanly took out every seal on that side, and costed me a rotor. Atleast the brand new housings didnt get harmed, i would have shot myself.

Holy crap. I remember being a little confused when I first read about the orienting the beveled side but man that sucks.

I forgot sealant on the "legs" of 3/4 housing faces.

Then it just popped an oil cooler line off while idling in the garage, apparently the push-lok hose wasn't all the way onto the fitting. Ever see 4 quarts of oil sprayed all over a bunch of kids toys? Not pretty. Lol.

damn. Just what i want to read before starting my rebuild! lol I never rebuilt a rotory but have a 300zx build and many honda motors under my belt.

it moves a lot of oil really quick!

best one i've done is a corner seal boot popped out while putting the rear iron on, the seal managed to get stuck right between the rotor housing and iron. when i pulled it apart there was an apex seal corner seal boot pressed flat into the rotor housing..
