Disconnecting the Fuel Injector Connectors

What's the magic step to disconnecting the Injector Connectors? I'm removing the injector to have them cleaned and flowed. The connector doesn't want to release. Evidently, there's a clip or something to hold the connector in place. How do I get it to release?

use a very small screwdriver and put it up under the wire clip. The clip will come off. Be careful because it is kind of springy and can fly off. Once the clip is off, just pull up on the connector it will come right off.
