Question Disconnected connectors under driver's side?

I am new to RX-7, only recently purchased a S5 N/A.

So I was checking underneath the steering wheel, and I discovered a few connectors aren't connected. In particular, there is one that comes out the front of the clutch pedal (clutch switch I suppose?) that isn't connected to anything. And of the two sockets in front of the break pedal, one is not connected.

You can clearly see both in the picture below.

Is this normal? If not, what issue could arise from that?

I do know that if the clutch switch isn't connected the car won't properly compensate for the extra load when the pedal is pressed in and put into gear.

The clutch pedal has two switches.
The one at the very top of the pedal is the clutch interlock and is used in the start circuit.
The second switch is the one you seem to have focused on and one of it's uses is to activate the cruise control circuit.

It also appears that your brake light switch is disconnected.

Indeed I checked and the upper switch was also disconnected. Plugging it back instantly fixed my low idle rpm problem.

On the brake light switch, I am pretty sure my brake lights do come on. As I said, there seems to be space for two connectors on the brake pad socket. Any ideas what's the one that is not for brake light is for?

Cruise control, which gets deactivated when you tap the brakes.

Okay so I guess my car's cruise control won't be working right, since both connectors related to it have been disconnected, but I don't seem to be able to find the corresponding connectors anywhere.

Any idea which part of FSM I should look at? Cruise control doesn't seem to be part of either "Fuel and Emission Control System" (F) or "Engine Electrical System" (G).

So to answer my own question, cruise control is under "Body Electric System" (T).

I still haven't located the cables and connectors though. If anyone has a photo of them I would be very grateful.
