Disassembled my 175mile "blown" engine
Finally got time to pull and dissassemble my broken S5 13B. Turns out the front iron cracked at the dowel pin; as epected. No known cause, the car was well taken care of during the little bit of break-in it got.
Engine internals looked fine; broke a few side-seals; apex's are like-new, other than being dirty.
6-8" oil gyser coming from engine = new housing time.

...I'm confident it was due to neglectful handling of my front iron by the rotary mecahnic who did my porting...and a pretty substandard port job at that...

Eh; that's unimportant. I have no proof to base my claims of mishandling on. When I asked earlier, that was the most likely cause of the housing cracking; and neither myself, or the 1 person I had helping me rebuild the engine so much as scuffed a housing. <shrug>
As per who did the porting; it was the Rotary Doctor of Neosho, MO. I'll try and post pictures of the work preformed in the next day or so.
