Yes, I do have a FCD, and it will cut off at about 7800RPMSs. I would hit fuel cut much earlier than that since I have a 3" turboback with no cats if I had no FCD..

Wow, I'm sure glad my posts get sent to suggestions for lack of a QUESTION. How often do you blow the moderators to allow you to post this important learning experience? Who gives a ****? Rev limiter, fuel cut off, going past redline to say you did, so what. Blow your engine, and go to the important section. Cause you must be something special to them, otherwise this would have been moved already. Moderators, stop playing favorites, and do your jobs.

I'm not saying they wont connect, I'm just skeptical that they will actually do anything. As for differences, if you think there arent any, you clearly have not read the 862 million threads regarding jspec motors. A LOT of Japanese cars have small electrical differences, and other features that werent included on US cars. I'm not trying to prove anything, but if you really want to prove YOUR point once and for all, then there are much better ways to do it than your childish pseudo-superior attitude. Look the circuitry up in the FSM, or open up your own ECU. Hard facts will always rule over a person's (especially one who seems to be very unpopular) opinion. I never said that there was no rev limiter on an FC, nor do I care since none of my current or future RX-7's will ever run on the stock ECU. Honestly, I would like it if you proved the others wrong. It would give me hope regarding the fate of the human race if just one person, who to my experience has only ever argued out of his *** without providing any credible information, would actually contribute something helpful for a change. Please do it, then people may take you seriously from now on, including myself.

Take it to 9200 rpms.

You will not be able to get there.

You're getting confused with speed limiters. Japanese FC's have speed limiters, US ones don't.

USDM FC's DO NOT have rev limiters...period.....argue all you want.....we don't have them.
1989 FSM (the online copy), Fuel & Emissions chapters, pages F1-77 (NA) and F2-75 (Turbo), Output Devices table, first line, Fuel Injection Amount, Remarks:

"Rear side; Above 8,500rpm; Fuel cut"

Unless I'm mistaken, that's a rev limiter. The S4 FSM doesn't have a similar Output Devices table but it's a safe assumption that the S4 ECU also has a rev limiter. Why wouldn't it?

Feel free to apologise for your mistake.

I can't write with clarity? scathcart, post your intelligence, or maybe you did! Is that the extent of your knowledge? Take your pinto with its rev limiter and maybe you and slpin can start your own website. I heard www.dumbasdirt.com\\eatshit.kissass//retarded has an opening. Another brain surgeon with no credible input. Thanks for your advice. I'll go back to school now, and learn how express my disgust at these ridiculous posts. Clear enough for you, or do want someone to hold your hand while mommy explains it to you? Change your diaper, and leave.

Mombo, I haven't see you post anything that actually benefits this rotary community at all. I can't believe that someone that's 40 years old is as big of an idiot as he is..

A Haltech e6k replaces the stock ecu, and the fuel cut would be built in to the stock ecu, although the haltech has the option for said fuel cut, it is optional...

there is no programming beyond that point, unless if these chips have complete maps that override the stock programming i don't see how they would work.

You're right. You have displayed your intelligence with thousands of worthwhile, helpful, clearly written posts.

Oh, wait, you haven't.

No one likes you. Go away.

scathcart, you are right, no one likes me. You know why, cause I'm new, I read and research, I ask intelligent questions, and post my dislike of stupid questions. I do my research, and read, and read , and read, and when I don't know, I post intelligent questions. Been here forever scathcart, no wonder, you have nothing anyone pays attention to. Put me in my corner, if you must, but I am the most intelligent noobie to this club, and have the ***** to say when I don't know. Tired of stupid posts, and will continually say so. I don't learn from retards, and never will. So post some advice I might learn from, otherwise, get off my ***. I'm not here for your approval, or anyone elses, I'm here to make MY FC 1990 FC3C, N/A, STOCK, the best it can be. Got a problem with that, send me a ticket, and we can dance. Otherwise, let me learn in my own way, and when I'm stupid, have the ***** to tell me. I can live with it, you can't.

No, it's because you think you're a dog. That got old about the second time you did it. Now it's just damn annoying.

Been here forever scathcart, no wonder, you have nothing anyone pays attention to.
Actually Sean is one of the most respected and knowledgeable members here. There aren't many members who've contributed as much info as he has, something you might have discovered if you search as much as you claim. You are in no position to make any comments about the value of the info he's provided.

I am the most intelligent noobie to this club
So why do all your posts sound like they were written by a 14yo? Do you think people actually respect you for that? Get real.

NZ, is there actually a point to this thread? If so, put your input there. How many times have you gotten to that point? Are you saying you have or not? I can't remember any posts I have read recently from scathcart, THAT APPLIED TO ME, but If I have, let me know, so I can appologize for you reading what I have researched. Otherwise, you are just like the rest of them: criticize someone with a mind not searching for knowledge. Must be nice to be PERFECT like you , cause I've noticed, you are not the most respected member here also. Oops, truth hurt, get off my ***.

Dude, please learn better grammer. your setting a bad example for jr. highers.

Do you ever re-read what you've typed? because god damn man! some things just dont make sense no matter how much you try to read it.

I think NZ is a respected member. i dont see many of his posts that are pointless, full of typo's or almost inpossible to read due to lack of grammer.

why dont you just go research a something thats more along your level, something that will have better real life use like http://www.spelling.hemscott.net/ try that. maybe that will help you, i found it on google for you.
