Dings in hood
Dings in hood
Is the turbo II hood soft enough to get dings in it that easily? Ive had my car parked under a tree and noticed about 20 dings in the hood now, no where else. Only thing I can think of are acorns but I didnt think they would be able to do that much damage. What do you guys do to keep stuff like this from happening?
Same here. Parked under a tall tree full of those "things" that squirrels eat.
They are sharp and hard.
Best thing to do, is to avoid parking under a tree.

Or get carbon fiber hood - maybe it'll help.
The aluminum hoods as found on many Turbo models are more prone to getting ding'd by hail or other objects hitting them.
Your best bet for removal of dings like that is with the paintless repair that is available in most cities, or you can try and remove them yourself with the hot glue gun type pullers available at most auto parts stores.
A good thick car cover will reduce the likely hood of further damage from smaller objects
