Question digital boost gauge question.

so i searched around for the best place to hook up the line for a boost gauge but all the threads i found were for mechanical gauge's. i just got a autometer digital that has the sender that i need to thread into something. i was windering what would be the best place to put it. is there somewere that it will just thread into or am i hoing to have to drill and tap a hole in the mani or something?

Tapping into the compression tube or the tube directly after the turbo (where the bov hooks up) are both common places. Both of these pieces can be taken off easily, rather than having to take off the whole UIM to drill a hole.

Tap the intake manifold (one of the primary runners) to fit the sender. Probably 1/8" NPT.

Or, go to the local hydraulic shop and get a 1/8" NPT female nipple to screw onto the sender and then just connect to a standard vacuum nipple.
