differential removal question

differential removal question

Ok I am nearing the end of my swp and all I have left if to tke off the differentiala nd put in my lsd one. The driveshaft and ecu wiring. So my qustion is I need to remove the differentail and I was at it for quite some time yesterday and today but couldn't do it. I can't get eh two nuts from the front of the rubber thing that is connected to the differential. I got the halfshafts off and all but the two nuts in the front I can't take off. Can someone help me.

Use a short 11/16" wrench. Or you can drop the entire subframe.

Shoot I never thought of dropping the subframe. But if I drop the subframe. that would mean that I drop the differential at the same time. Right? The differntial is connected to the subframe I think? Well the rubber part where I'm having a problem is....

yes the diff will drop with the sub frame. you just need to loosen the bolts enough to gain access to the nuts. if you use a wobbly with an extension you can get them.
