Differential Question

Is there a way to change the rubber bushings on the differential? I can't really tell if I can press them out or not.

Yeah, they come out, and they can be a BIOTCH to get out and back in. Theres stock replacements, then theres the MAZDA SPEED / Racing ones which are a tad harder (I have them).

I used a lead pipe with a flattened tip to hammer it out from one side and a screw driver against the metal lip on the other side. They popped out relatively easy.

Lead pipe on this side hammering into it. Then screw driver on the metal lip facing away from the inside.

Here's the internal metal ring you can hammer away on.

and here are some sexy MMR solid mounts which went in with a rubber mallet.

MMR mounts are $50 plus shipping. Sweet.

A hydraulic press makes this a 5 minute job. Very handy indeed.
