Hi! I will replace or rebuild the differential on my car.
The car is a S4 TII 87.
I found this item on ebay

Will it fit my car?

 

If its not Turbo II it will not fit. That looks like a NA differential. But I might be wrong.

 

email the Seller..the N/A LSD's will have a Tag on the Filler Nut,that says "add Lsd Type Fluid Only"..the TII LSD's Do NOT have that Tag..

 

Or just e-mail the seller and ask if it's NA or TII diff. If the seller can't give you a firm answer on such a simple question I wouldn't buy from them anyway

my 88 GXL had that tag, my 88 10th AE does not, but my 88 turbo II does have it`
don't you think over the last 20 frickin years someone has check the diff fluid? and that maybe some people neglect to put the tag back on with the drain plug.

also that seems like a good deal 200 buy it now? wow i sold my N/a diff for 375! on ebay
